Templenoe
was built in 1761 by the Hydes of Castlehyde as a farm manager's
house. In the 1850’s the Georgian wing was added and
used as a rectory. The gardens were designed by Davie Magner
and supplied the house with a rich variety of organic fruit
and vegetables. Today, guests at Templenoe unwind in the
quiet surroundings of the gardens or walk along the river
and enjoy the natural environment shared by otters, kingfishers
and herons. Inside we offer guests an honesty bar, so you
can enjoy your favourite tipple while relaxing in the luxurious
comfort of a country house.
