There are a huge amount of walks for all levels of walking enthusiasts in North Cork. Mountain ranges straddle the borders between Cork, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford and are all within easy reach of Fermoy. These include: The Nagle mountains, Ballyhoura mountains, Galtymore mountains and the Knockmealdown mountains. There is also a long distance walk known as The Blackwater Way.
